Impressions

This was my first semi-professional gig. It was also the first time there was no dedicated theater space. We rehearsed all over San Diego County, in courtyards, churches, dance studios, and a martial arts studio. Virtually every actor has performed in some version of A Christmas Carol, it's one of the most popular plays to perform and every Christmas it's done all over the country. This wasn't even the first time I had performed in A Christmas Carol. This particular version did have a lot of heart and it stayed true to its source material. The main character I played was Martha Cratchit, the oldest daughter of the Cratchit family. She was a small role but she was very sweet and really demonstrated how much the Cratchit family loved and supported each other. I also stepped in for several actors for performances of this play and it was a lot of fun to get to know several of the characters in the play.
