Privacy Policy
What this site collects, who sees it, and how to have it deleted.
Effective November 7, 2026
This site is the professional portfolio of Erin Floyd-Smith, an actor based in Nevada. It is owned and operated by Smith & Floyd LLC, which is responsible for the information described here. The site sells nothing and shows no advertising. It collects personal information in one place — the contact form — and measures traffic with Google Analytics, which is described below.
What the contact form collects
When you submit the contact form, the following is collected and sent by email to Erin Floyd-Smith at Smith & Floyd LLC:
- Your name, as you type it
- Your email address
- The category of inquiry you select
- Your message
- The two-letter country code your request arrives from, supplied by the content delivery network — not your IP address, and not a precise location
That is the complete list. There is no hidden field, no tracking pixel, and no profile built from your visit. The form has one hidden field named “company” which is a spam trap; it is invisible to people, and anything submitted in it is discarded without being read or sent.
Who else is involved
Three third parties necessarily see something when you use this site. Each is named here because naming them is the point of a privacy notice.
- Cloudflare hosts the site and routes every request. Like any web host it processes your IP address and standard request logs in order to serve pages and block abuse.
- Google Analytics measures how many people visit and which pages they read. It sets cookies in your browser and receives your IP address, which Google truncates rather than storing in full.
- Resend delivers the contact form as an email. The contents of your message pass through their service on the way to the inbox.
- Google Fonts serves the two typefaces this site uses. Loading a font tells Google your IP address and basic browser details. If you would rather that did not happen, blocking fonts.googleapis.com costs you nothing but the typography.
- YouTube hosts the demo reel, embedded in privacy-enhanced mode. Nothing is sent to YouTube unless you press play.
None of these are sent your information for their own marketing, and no information collected here is ever sold, rented, or traded. Smith & Floyd LLC does not disclose personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes, so no request need be made under California Civil Code § 1798.83.
Analytics, and how to switch it off
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which credits people actually read. It is configured without advertising personalisation, so nothing gathered here feeds ad targeting, and Google Analytics is not used to build audiences or follow you to other sites.
Google Analytics sets cookies named _ga and _ga_ followed by a property identifier. They record a randomly generated number that distinguishes one browser from another; they do not contain your name or email. If you also use the contact form, Smith & Floyd LLC has no way of connecting that message to your analytics record.
Three ways to stop it: install Google’s official opt-out browser add-on from tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout; turn on your browser’s tracking protection, which blocks it by default in several browsers; or use any standard content blocker. Nothing on this site stops working if you do — the analytics code simply never loads.
What is stored in your browser
If you switch between the light and dark versions of the site, that preference is saved in your own browser’s local storage so the choice survives to your next visit. It never leaves your device and is not readable by Smith & Floyd LLC. Clearing your browser data removes it. Apart from the Google Analytics cookies described above, this site sets no cookies of its own.
Do Not Track
Smith & Floyd LLC does not track you across other websites, does not sell or share your information, and runs no advertising. Google Analytics does not act on a Do Not Track header, so switching that setting on in your browser will not by itself stop the measurement described above — the opt-out add-on or a content blocker will. This is stated plainly because a notice claiming to honour a signal it cannot control would be worth nothing.
Reviewing, correcting or deleting what you sent
Email hello@erinfloydsmith.com and ask. Because submissions arrive as ordinary email rather than into a database, a deletion request means the message is deleted from the inbox, and confirmation will be sent to you. There is no account to log into and no stored record beyond that email.
Children
This site is aimed at casting directors, agents, producers and collaborators. It is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has submitted the form, email hello@erinfloydsmith.com and it will be deleted.
Changes to this notice
If this notice changes materially, the revised version will be posted here with a new effective date, and the change will be described at the top of the page for at least thirty days. There is no mailing list, so there is no other way you would be notified.
Visitors outside the United States
This site is operated from the United States by Smith & Floyd LLC and is intended for a United States audience. If you contact us from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and handled in the United States.
