Impressions

Working on MiraCosta College's promotional video was a meaningful opportunity to give back to the institution that provided my foundational theater training. Being selected to represent the college in their marketing materials reflected my positive relationship with the drama department and faculty. The promotional video work required authentic, natural behavior rather than scripted performance—appearing genuine and engaged while representing the college community. This type of commercial work taught me about institutional marketing and how educational content is created to attract prospective students. Working with the video production team provided experience with promotional content creation, which differs from narrative filmmaking in its focus on authentic representation rather than character development. The project also demonstrated my ongoing connection to MiraCosta College and my willingness to support the institution that launched my acting career. While my appearance was primarily background/featured work, being chosen to represent the college in their promotional materials was an honor that reflected my standing within the drama department community.
